Rosary

One of the most wonderful resources we have as a faith community is the opportunity the pray the Rosary as a group. Here among our schedules, is an occasion to gather and really “Bring our Faith to Life.” The Rosary allows us to contemplate on Christ’s life this moving us closer to Him.

Pope John Paul II, in 2002 wrote in his Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae:

“The Rosary, though clearly Marian in character, is at heart a Christocentric prayer. In sobriety of its elements, it has all thedepth of the Gospel message in its entirety, of which it can be said to be a compendium. It is an echo of the prayer of Mary, her perennial Magnificat for the work of the redemptive Incarnation which began in her virginal womb. With the Rosary, Christian people sit at the school of Mary and is led to contemplate the beauty of the face of Christ and to experience the depths of this love. Through the Rosary the faithful receive abundant grace, as though from the very hands of the Mother of the Redeemer.”  Read more from Pope John Paul II’s Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae.

The Spiritual Living Commission invites you to join them on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Ancilla Domini Chapel as we pray the Rosary.
