St. Michael's Social Club
St. Michael's Social Club has been an active
part of our parish for the last decade. The Social Club is committed to
promoting fellowship and community throughout the parish by providing
programs and events for the young adults of St. Michael's to gather,
meet other members of the parish, and to welcome new members of the
parish.
Upcoming Events St. Mike's 13th Annual Chili Cookoff
Date: Saturday, February 6, 2010
Place: John Barleycorn, 3524 N Clark St - Upstairs
Cost: $5 if on the list by Jan 31 ($10 after that) Pay at the door. Please BRING EXACT CHANGE All you can eat. Chili goes fast. Cash bar. Get on the list (773) 832-1804 or
To enter a chili: No Entry fee

Be present with your chili at John Barleycorn by 5:30 PM Provide 1 gallon of chili, enough for people to sample.
Voting method: Everyone votes and chooses first, second, and third best chili. Categories: Vegetarian and Meat Prizes: Fame and small tangible awards to winning chilies.
The social club is always looking for new ways to help St. Michael’s parishioners make new friendships. For the next few months we will be having meetings on Fridays starting at 6pm. We will decide on where we would like to have dinner then send the email out, so get on the list, and we will talk about ways that we can enhance the St. Michael’s experience from a social club perspective.
