We are asking for donations of gift cards, sporting event tickets (yes, we can have multiples of these!) sporting memorabilia, vacation weeks/weekends near or far, experiences (cooking classes, dinners, concert/show tickets, etc.), liquor packages, new jewelry, artwork, etc. for our Keys to the Bank Gala on May 5, 2023. The donation form can be found on the website—st-mikes.org—under the 2023 Gala menu item at the top of the screen. Please consider making a donation and email us if you have any questions. Also, please email us first if you are going to ask a business directly for a donation because we may have already contacted them.
Built-in 1924, and fully renovated in 2015, the Grand Banking Hall is a historic space and is among some of the most architecturally significant buildings in the Midwest. Spanning 88,000 square feet, the hall features Art Deco paintings with traditional neoclassical design.
During the workday, it is home to more than 600 dedicated Wintrust employees helping individuals and businesses with their financial needs. At night, it transforms into a stunning backdrop for special occasions. We are delighted to share the Grand Banking Hall with community and civic organizations in the Chicago area. For the past two years, the venue was nominated as one of the top event spaces in Chicago in Crain's Magazine.
This commitment to nonprofits is something our company values and is an expansion of our “community room” concept where we proudly share our space with groups who are making a difference. Due to company policy, only Wintrust-partnered nonprofits are able to book this space.
