On that weekend, we will collect warm, brand-new socks for men, women and children and donate them to programs serving the homeless, needy and migrants.
A few tips: white crew socks (not anklets, not no-show) are preferred, and men’s socks are needed in greater numbers. A collection box will be provided in the back of the church. During our last Sock Sunday, we collected over 1,000 pairs! We will be delivered to Catholic Charities and Night Ministry. This is an inexpensive, easy way to help those in need.
Socks can be delivered to the parish office at 1633 N. Cleveland. Thanks for stocking up on stockings!
